Evaluation is one of the most useful tools in your teaching bag. As a teacher you are consistently evaluating the needs of your class, creating activities and materials to fill the needs and then re-evaluating the success of the materials and activities you created. Having your own teaching evaluated will show you where you are doing well and areas you can improve in. Following are some of the areas that will be evaluated.

Was the class time well used?

Did the material used fit the level of the students?

Was the material used broken down well?

Were there a variety of different activities used to teach?

Did the teacher teach the class from an auditory, visual, kinesthetic basis or were all of the learning styled used?

How were classroom issues handled?

Was each student given equal treatment?

What was the teacher’s demeanor during the duration of the class? Just send us a homemade videotape of you teaching a 30-90 minute class and we will return the tape to you with a full evaluation of the areas you excel in and the ones that you can grow in. We pay the postage and handling to return it to you with your full evaluation and recommended materials list. Your tape will be evaluated and returned to you within one month after arrival at TTAZ. Please keep an extra copy of your tape in case the original gets damaged in the mail.
