Historic Reportoire - Shim Sham Shimmy Levels 1-6
Historic Reportoire - Shim Sham Shimmy Levels 1-6
This wonderful routine was developed by Leonard Reed and Willie Bryant in the 1920's. This piece of repertoire has become known as Tap's national anthem and the closing number for most professional Tap shows. There are hundreds of different variations that have developed over the years that stay true to the rhythms and formats of the original Shim Sham. This variation was developed at Peak Academy of Dance for levels 1-3 as a stand alone show closer.
